Following a 4-1 FA Cup hammering of Wrexham last week, Yeovil will see this match as an ideal way of catching up on the third division leaders. A comprehensive victory is expected of Gary Johnson's side is expected, after the Glovers have won six out of eight league games at Huish Park. Southend, are not the strongest of opponents and were held to a 1-1 draw against Canvey Island last weekend. Much to F-B's dismay as reports suggest the Ryman League side should have beaten the Shrimpers which would have resulted in a superb 4/1 profit for us. Despite mixed form, Southend have won their last three aways, beating fellow strugglers Macclesfield and Kidderminster and recording an LDV vans victory over Swansea at the Vetch. But they will find freescoring Yeovil a much different prospect altogether. |
