This match has the word 'upset' written all over it. Wrexham, although rated highly and sitting comfortably in 11th place have lost five of their last six games and have a massive injury crisis goining into this game. Defeats by Colchester, Barnsley, Stockport, Luton and Yeovi along with key players such as Chris Llewellyn, Shaun Holmes, Brian Carey, Darren Ferguson, and Lee Jones all doubtful does not bode well for the visit of a Tony Adams-inspired Wycombe. Following the former Arsenal captain's appointment as manager, his side responded by hammering Swindon 4-1 in the FA Cup. The bottom-of-the-table club succumbed to a last minute defeat at home to Brentford last week, but Adams could be the man to turn around the club's fortunes, starting tomorrow afternoon. |
