WBA have done very well in this competition and notably beat a Manchester United reserve team in the last round. There has been some confidence within the betting community that they will achieve the same feat against an Arsenal 'reserve' side. However, I don't think they will be as fortunate this time around. On the weekend the Baggies were held at the Hawthorns by Crewe, are short of attacking options and may be without midfield maestro Jason Koumas. Arsenal's reserves swept past Wolves 5-1 in the last round and as the competition draws closer to the final expect Arsene Wenger to take it more seriously. Players such as Wiltord, Kanu, Aliadiere, Parlour, Edu and Lauren are all likely to start for the Gunners. |
