I just found out about a great Ante Post bet which will compliment our pre-season selections nicely. It is a Premiership top goalscorer bet between players who have UK and Irish nationalities, i.e. excluding the likes of Henry, Van Nistelrooy, Hasselbaink etc. Only Stan James are running this bet so please open an account as soon as possible before this bet is taken down or the odds are changed. They have priced up Michael Owen at a relatively large 5/2 with Alan Shearer second at 4/1. Both these players are regulars at the top of the Premiership goalscoring charts let alone one which excludes foreign players. Plus they both take penalties for their club and will surely outgun the likes of Robbie Keane Andy Cole and Robbie Fowler among other players listed. The only threat to either of these two topping the group is James Beattie but he is not guaranteed another season like he had during 2002/03. By backing both Owen and Shearer you can guarantee yourself a nice profit providing one of them finishes as the UK & Irish top Premiership goalscorer.
