This fixture looks distinctly possible to end in an 'upset', but if Canvey Island, top of the Ryman Premier Division, were to beat third division strugglers Southend, would it really be that much of a shock? The home side are without the injured Duncan Jupp, Jamie Stuart, Jamie Fullarton and Leke Odunsi while there are also doubts over Mark Warren and Steven Clark. Canvey Island, on the other hand, are at full-strength and will be looking to cause a shock against their local rivals. The away side possess a potent goal threat in former West Ham striker Lee Boylan, who has netted 16 goals already this season and veteran skipper Neil Gregory, with 15 goals to his name. I don't care if this bet loses because as far as I am concerned Hill's are offering the away win at an excellent price for a very realistic outcome. As the old saying goes, fortune favours the brave. |
