Sunderland will not have a better chance to end a wretched 16-match losing streak, and, live on television. If they can fashion half as many chances tonight, they should win easily. Even though Sunderland were dismal last season, they beat another third division side, Cambridge United, 7-0 in this competition, something Mansfield will be all too aware of.
