There has never been a better time to oppose Arsenal following their 3-0 mauling at home to Inter in midweek. Arsene Wenger has been claiming quite publically that his side will take out their defeat on Man United but is it really that likely? The Gooners defence is a shambles and is further depleted by the absence of Sol Campbell for personal reasons. The last time Arsenal fielded a sub-strength defence United hammered them 6-1. By playing Kolo Toure and Jens Lehmann at the back, a confident United, fresh from thumping Panathanaikos 5-0 midweek, will relish the chance to do some damage to their London rivals. I'm going to stick my neck out and risk backing United on the handicap as we need to try and turn around our fortunes and this bet has a good chance at nice odds. A 2-0 win will do us nicely and bank a large profit. |
