Having watched both Derby and Wigan in the flesh this season I am confident an away win can be profited from. Against my team Cardiff, Wigan were superb. They were the first to every ball and had the meanest defence I have seen at Ninian Park. Their high concentration levels should snuff out any attacking threat Derby, who are without Lee Morris, Junior and possibly Matt Svensson, have to offer. While Wigan are missing Neil Roberts and Peter Kennedy through international duty, Lee McCulloch is back in contention. Wigan are likely to do enough to grind out a narrow victory. |
