Cheltenham boss Bobby Gould has a number of injury concerns and QPR, fresh from a 5-0 hammering of Blackpool, are a decent price to inflict further misery. Shane Duff has damaged ligaments and tendons in his ankle while John Finnigan, who was also carried off during the 2-0 weekend loss to Southend, is rated 50-50 after a heavy kick to the shin left him with deep bruising. Gould named his side this morning and looks set to play five at the back in an attempt to stifle their trigger happy opponents. QPR have injury worries of their own but are likely to play a similar side which won so convincingly on the weekend. A full debut could be handed to summer signing Martin Rowlands if defender Clarke Carlisle fails to overcome an ankle problem but striker Kevin Gallen is nursing a thigh strain and may miss out. If Rangers can find the same rhythm as they did at the weekend it could be a long night for the home side. |
