I will be attending this game but anyone with satellite can also watch it live as it is the evening match on Sky. Viewers were treated to a five goal thriller between these sides just a few weeks ago when the Hammers came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 in the Carling Cup, and I expect a similar showing here. Cardiff are still struggling with numbers and will hope their makeshifr team can show the same spirit which saw them defeat Coventry 3-1 last weekend (also live on television). The Bluebirds welcome back Graham Kavanagh who will tighten things up in midfield and create more chances for the home side. The local press is building the game up to be a 'battle of the hotshots', namely City's Robert Earnshaw and West Ham's Jermaine Defoe, who netted a hat-trick in the Carling Cup victory compared to Earnshaw's double strike. I wouldn't be surprised to see both players hit the net in this game and think Bet365 are very generous in pricing up at least three goals being scored. |
