The stand-out fixture in the second division has to be Bristol City's first home clash of the season. Last term the Robins were awesome on their own patch, notching up 15 wins and scoring 43 goals in the process. The club have lost prolific midfielder Scott Murray, who scored 27 goals, to Reading, but manager Danny Wilson has recruited Falkirk's Lee Miller and Middlesbrough's Luke Wilkshire as replacements. Things aren't so great for Notts County who have lost key striker Danny Allsop to third division hopefuls Hull City. Bristol City have won three of their last four home ties against the Magpies, winning the last two meetings 3-2 and dishing out a 4-0 hammering three seasons ago. They are a good bet to get their Division Two campaign off to a winning start. |
